Pragya Mishra is proud to call Virginia her long-time home. She joined the local community at a young age when she attended Oakton High School, before going on to graduate from Virginia Tech with a degree in Landscape Architecture. After a successful career of managing projects and sales for a large and reputable local landscape design company for 15 years, Pragya took a leap and founded Artscapes in 2015. She was inspired to have the freedom to work directly with clients in a personalized experience to create their vision of an outdoor space that brings them joy all year round. 

Value-driven industry expertise, coupled with attentive client communication, are at the foundation of the mission that Pragya brings to each project. At the cornerstone of the Artscapes concept is Pragya’s dedication to landscape art design, where she works tirelessly to bring each client their own distinct feeling of joy. 

In her free time, Pragya loves to spend time outdoors biking and hiking with her husband and two daughters. Her hobbies also include reading, painting, gardening, and traveling to local nurseries to check out plants. When she needs down time, she relaxes by enjoying the works of her favorite painter, Monet, and occasionally indulging in her favorite Netflix shows.
